A collection of three bags inspired by three of the most iconic and memorable Formula 1 race tracks from around the world.
Behind the designs
Fast Lines is a collection of three bags that channel the culture and excitement of Formula 1 by using three tracks seen within the sport. These being the Red Bull Ring in Austria, the Marina Bay Street Circuit in Singapore, and the Suzuka International in Japan. Each bag is made from a tie-dyed denim, decorated with a combination of screen printing, beading, and hand painting to represent the culture and identity of each race location.
The Red Bull Ring tote bag features a screen-printed, then hand-painted in gold, image of the track layout overlaid with the famous metal bull statue. Accented with gold hand-beaded horns, it captures the power and energy associated with the Austrian circuit and its mountainous terrain.
The Suzuka duffel bag presents the figure-eight track layout in gold intertwined with a bold image of Mount Fuji, which can be seen from the track on a good day, screen printed across the surface. Beaded cherry blossoms surround the track layout, referencing both Japanese aesthetics and the seasonality of the Japanese Grand Prix.
The Marina Bay messenger bag highlights the Marina Bay Sands Hotel and circuit, shown through a combination of screen printing and hand painting, along with beaded fireworks to represent the liveliness and culture around the fabled night race.
Each bag is finished with cream cotton tape for the straps and the circuit names on the back of the bag. Inside, a black and white checkered flag lining pays homage to the universal symbol of race completion. Fast Lines is a dynamic blend of motorsport homage, cultural storytelling, and bold, wearable design.
